If there's anything I felt SO3 did well, it was adding Crosell into the mix. I'm a total sucker for dragons. Especially SO dragons (<3 Gyoro and Ururun).
Truth be told, I'm really happy with this piece. Though, I'm not fully satisfied. I know I copped out majorly with the background, and deep inside me I realize it completely clashes with the painting style I have on Crosell. Maybe I'll find it in myself to fix up the piece later, but returning to college campus has really put a bind on my time. =/ As for the title, I wanted something special other than "Crosell" or "The Marquis"; I had to look up the name of the ritual when a knight makes a pact with a dragon. I hope this is the correct name. Otherwise all my blame lies on the SO3 wiki. xD Now why would I draw something from SO3 and not SO2?! SO is star ocean right? I need to check that series out.
btw, the team I used to beat him: Fayt, Nel, and Maria
Fayt and Nel were controlled by the computer for attacking while I personally controlled Maria to use Protection and Power-Up to bolster Fayt and Nel.
