That's right! A Questionnaire! I got tagged by :iconeeveesama:

Answer each question truthfully:

From now on, you can’t tell lies, are you ready?
- Let's do this.

Think back eight months ago, were you single?
- Nope.

What do you carry with you at all times?
- My wallet.

Who was the last person of the opposite sex you text messaged?
- I don't text.

How are you feeling?
- Rather well, thanks!

Is something wrong right now?
- Well, I pricked my finger on the needle, but that's about it.

Are you mad at someone?
- Not currently anyway.

Do you plan on sleeping in tomorrow?
- Nah. I wake up at 9 at the latest.

Are you jealous of someone right now?
- Nah uh.

Do you have a piggy bank that’s actually shaped like a pig?
- I don't own one, but my mother does.

What’s the last thing you put in your mouth?
- A peanut butter sandwich.

What are you suppose to be doing right now?
- Nothing really. Still on break before college starts up. Though, I am working on my newest plushie before I open up commissions on LJ.

Have you ever changed clothes in a vehicle?
- Several times.

Could you handle a long distance relationship?
- I've only been in one for four years and counting.

Could you cry right now?
- Probably not.

Do you ever think about stuff and start crying?
- Who doesn't? I particularly get hit by remembering the day I had to put my chinchilla to sleep. =/

Are you okay with the life you live?
- I don't regret any bit of it. I think some parts are awesome and others SUCK, but I don't regret either or.

Did you enjoy your day today?
- It's still morning. Ha ha. But, sure. :3

Do you have a tattoo?
- Nope. I always thought a huge dragon swirling around my bicep would be cool, but I would never actually commit to getting one (mother would kill me, and I'm deathly afraid of needles in my skin)

Would you ever get any piercings on your body, other than your ear?
- Nah. Earrings are the only things for me, and I don't even wear them most of the time!

What was the last thing you spent money for?
- Buying embroidery floss for my plushie.

Who was the last person you talked to on the phone?
- My friend Kevin or my mother. Pretty sure it was my friend though.

Do you call it fall or autumn?
- Most likely fall, but I love the way autumn sounds.

11:11… Make a wish?
- ...

Honestly, who makes you happy most of the time?
- My boyfriend, family, and close-knit friends.

What were you up to at 9pm last night?
- Eating dinner with my boyfriend's family - they're late eaters compared to my family!

Do you hold grudges?
- I'd like to think I don't. I wouldn't try to get even with someone, but I definitely wouldn't forget bad encounters either.

Pick a word that starts with the first letter of your first name?
- Meticulous.

In the past seventy-two hours, have you been under the influence?
- Not at all. I don't smoke or drink.

Who was your last text from?
- Probably some person who didn't listen to me when I said I have no texting plan and thus won't be able to read anything I'm sent.

Who was your last phone call from?
- Either my friend Kevin or my mother.

One thing you’re looking forward to?
- Kicking ass when fall quarter starts up.

Are you shy at first when it comes to meeting people?
- I used to be. I'm much more open now, but still fairly shy depending on the environment.

Has anyone ever called you sexy?
- My boyfriend has though it's usually said as kind of a playful tease rather than a sensuous one. I remember returning the favor and he freaked out since I don't really speak like that. xD

What color is your camera?
- Used to be this gorgeous green. That was before I accidentally slipped in a fountain and broke it due to water damage. Now it's a pretty purple.

Have you ever overheard a conversation you weren’t supposed to?
- Who doesn't? Though, I try my best to divert my attention elsewhere.

Have you ever lived in Pennsylvania, Arizona, or Hawaii?
- Are these the sucky states or something? And, no, but I have visited the former two.

Have you ever lived in Quebec, Dubai, or Chihuahua?
- Nope.

Did you even know Chihuahua was a place?
- Of course.

By the way, what is your name?
- Michelle

What time zone do you live in?
- Central for Home-home; Pacific for College-home.

Are you currently in a relationship?
- Yup. Four years and going strong!

How many letters does your name have in it?
- Too many to count...

Do you like being home alone or does it freak you out?
- I'm used to it. I only get freaked out if its really late at night and I start hearing things I don't know what they are.

Have you ever had to stay overnight at a hospital?
- Maybe when I was a baby in Germany? For the most part, however, I tough things out on my own.

How old is the youngest person in your household?
- 15.

Do you have one of those friends that just have to constantly be in a relationship?
- Not that I'm aware of.

Plushies, summer, and my lack of presence

Tue Aug 25, 2009, 12:05 AM
To the maybe three people who still read my journal entries when they pop up on your news feeds:

I...am not dead. By now, you should have probably already figured out that I'm a horrible journal updater, and that I'll most likely go a year or so before ever writing a new entry in any kind of personal "extrapolation" of my life and interests. But that doesn't mean I'm not around!

Honestly, I lurk dA avidly, but I rarely comment or add pictures unless I:

A) ...am extremely bored and have no other matter to attend to.

B) ...feel extremely accomplished to the point of showing off my abilities thus far.

C) ...finally decided to stop procrastinating and get my ass into gear.

D) ...have a combination of two or more of the above.

However, I've been relatively active on an LJ Pokemon community I've been posting on with fair regularity. I actually meant to post some pictures from there to here after I finished my first custom Pokemon plushies. And, I did attempt to load said plushies on dA. Unfortunately, I tried to do this while at a hotel some weeks back, and I found very little success. As such, I more or less lost interest in the failed upload and left the matter alone while I pursued other goals (namely double checking college documents, spending my last days home with my family at special outings, more plushie planning, and preparing to visit my boyfriend in California).

Anyway, blahblahblah... Onto the main point here. I've finally received my fabrics and materials from home - couldn't bring them on the plane due to flight regulations and lack of space. So, I've been rekindling the desire to sew more plushies before my summer ends!

So, let's see if I can get some small pictures up of my first PokePlushies before I turn in for tonight.

Busy busy busy.

:iconashtonstamp1::iconashtonstamp2:

Just realized I hadn't had a journal entry in over a year. Decided to change that by making a little update here. So far, life's good. Just busy busy busy. Feel free to note me or whatever if you really want the details.

Now that I'm working and getting paid for it, I've been feeling small urges to indulge in something I would probably never have seriously considered due to my normally rather frugal nature.

A collar.

Yup, you read correctly.

I've always thought collars were aesthetically pleasing. I kind of attribute the inkling of curiosity to Bowser from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Ever since that game, I thought Bowser was kick ass (especially the way he would perform a drill claw maneuver when you timed the combo button correctly!). Even more to the point, since I started liking Bowser's character, I paid more attention to his appearance and thought his black studded cuffs and collar looked like the coolest fashion items ever.

Though, honestly, I never really fully investigated that interest. Sure, I bought a cheap studded bracelet at Claire's or whatever when I was in ninth grade, but I never really wore it around due to high school concerns about it being used as a weapon or just going against the code of conduct. So, my exploration was put on an abrupt halt back then.

Don't get me wrong though. I'm not into yiffing, whipping, or anything similar. I honestly like the collar as an accessory rather than a slavery or bondage symbol. For a long while, I thought I was alone in this feeling. I know it's a silly a silly notion; considering we have so many people on the planet, obviously some other person would share my mindset. Lo and behold, I stumbled across a community of people who DO like collars for a variety of reasons, including being furry followers, BDSM backers, appearance admirers, or a combination of the three.

Not to mention, I'm also in college where the otherwise ultra conservative parts of Texas high schools can't prohibit me from trying out a new look. So, I've felt a renewed sense of reassurance and desire to wear a simple every-day collar (yeah, nothing with super huge spikes and black leather XD). I probably wouldn't put it on when I go to work or interviews, but I'm sure wearing it around campus would be fun. I'm a little hesitant about the responses I'll get since I don't really recall seeing anybody on campus wear a collar, but since I'm in California now, I don't fear it would be something on the level of what might otherwise come out of a disapproving Texan's mouth. From what I've read, it seems the most annoying remark I could receive is "Is that a dog collar?" or something of that essence.

Ha ha, now it sounds like I already own a collar. Well, I don't. Just been thinking about it a lot for the past few weeks. Which kind of brings me to my new subject of this nifty site I found that makes custom collars. All around before, I had been seeing these babies go for 40 bucks a pop, being in black leather and silver studs. While I don't disagree that they look cool, I know they'd give the wrong impression the moment anything like that was seen near me. So, I'd rather customize my own collar - to suit more casual, every-day needs than extreme bed-play and animal sort of antics - for a cheaper price. How effing awesome is that?

Way effing awesome.

The only thing that would be even cooler is if I was to win this month's banner contest for said site in which I'd get a $35 discount off a new collar. Figured I'd give it a shot since I'm considering getting one regardless once I get this paycheck. It's a pretty neat place. Check it out below.

Just because...

I needed a new journal entry. Now for random tidbits:

Strangely enough, I had a burst of a artistic drive flow through me today...

...during Math41 Calculus.

Needless to say, my doodles of Snorlax and Pikachus hopped around the half-assed notes I took. Limits are just so boring. T-T; The sooner we get into Definite Integrals and Derivatives, the better.

Archery is this coming Friday. I can't wait. x3

And Karel the Robot actually responded to my ridiculously unnecessary methods for picking up a newspaper. Good job, Karel. /CS106A accomplishment.

My Intro to Humanities (IHUM) course requires I have half of Lolita read by tomorrow. I should finish the other one fourth needed...
